EasyCatalog CS2 2.0.2 Now Available

The latest version of EasyCatalog CS2 2.0.2 for Adobe InDesign CS2 is now available from our download page.

• Field Options

  • Fix for numeric formats '###,-' and '###.###,-'. Previous version would always strip decimal part of number unless there was a thousands specifier specified.

• Updating Furniture

  • Fixes crash when updating furniture - if 'No Master' was applied to any page, the plug-in would crash
  • Fields at the start of a text box were previously assumed to belong to the previous page
  • Items further up the page take precedence over those further to the left when calculating page positions for 'First on Page', 'Last on Page', etc.
  • If the record or data source cannot be found, furniture items will not be updated
  • After updating furniture, a single 'Update Furniture' shows on the undo/redo menus.

• General

  • Fixes bug where some operations, such as 'Synchronize with Document' would not process locked stories.
  • Fixes place-count problem. Anchored picture boxes would increment the place-count twice.
  • Windows Only - 'Check for Updates' now opens the URL in a browser correctly.
  • 'Check for Updates' web-page now only shows version numbers for plug-ins that are loaded.

• Importing Data

  • General
    • If duplicate records are found in the data source, the user is now offered the option of removing them.
  • File Data Provider Module
    • Now displays an error if the data source cannot be updated.

• Pagination Module

  • Pagination Rules Panel
    • Fixes problem with untranslated strings appearing in Action text after boxes have been exported and re-imported as INX or dragged from a library.
  • Guide-based Pagination
    • Fixes problem where guide intersections would not always be sorted correctly, causing record to be placed out of order.

• Installer

  • Installer now requires Administrator privileges to install plug-ins.
