Placed records can be identified outside of EasyCatalog by updating the panel with Page Numbers, this option can be found at the following location: ‘EasyCatalog Data View Pop Out Menu -> Update Panel -> With Page Numbers’. It is best to make sure that a field in the data has been created for these page numbers however it is also possible to export custom fields when using ‘Update Datasource’ by holding down SHIFT + ALT.
Once these page numbers have been exported back to the data source a sort or subset can then be applied to the page numbers field in excel or another data program to show the placed records.
