Data may contains fields which aren’t required. These make working with the data harder and require extra resources to maintain. To exclude a field or set of fields permanently from an already established data source, press the info button on the panel, then the icon at the top left. This presents a dialog box similar to:
To exclude a field, double-click it. It then displays with a red icon. Double click again to show it again. In addition “Add” allows the entry of a regular expression which can be used to match a set of fields to be excluded.
Any changes made by this are applied the next time data source is synchronised.
