The following only applies to versions CS5.5 and below
On the disk image that was downloaded (that contains the EasyCatalog installer), there is an ‘ODBC Pre-requisites’ folder — inside are a couple of installers that will need to be run. Once these have been run, re-start InDesign with Shift, Alt, Apple and Ctrl held down. These need to be held down immediately as InDesign starts to boot and a dialog will appear that asks to delete the InDesign preferences: answer ‘yes’ to this to force the plug-ins to reload.
