With the recent release of InDesign CC 2015.4, we are aware of a font issue that causes our panels to draw incorrectly. This has been fixed in the latest release of EasyCatalog and EasyCatalog Lite which can be downloaded from our Downloads page.
Another issue which is not EasyCatalog-related: users who are working with libraries stored on network drives are experiencing crashes during startup. Adobe are working on a fix for this so we would recommend not upgrading until this is available:
We are aware of the issue where InDesign crashes on launch while working with Library files saved on a network location.
We are working towards the resolution of the issue and for now, please try the workaround that we have identified.
As a workaround, please follow the steps given below:
Clear InDesign Cache by either renaming the Cache folder or by deleting it altogether. (Renaming of the folder is preferred)
Cache folder location: –
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\\\Caches\
Windows 7 or 10: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\\\Caches\
Macintosh: Hard Drive/Users//Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign///
Also, if your workflow requires to work with Library (.indl) placed on network, please make sure that you close the library panel before quitting InDesign.
