EasyCatalog Repeatedly Requests Registration on Windows

Occasionally, a permissions issue may prevent EasyCatalog serial numbers from being saved correctly. This causes EasyCatalog to run in trial mode each time InDesign is launched.

To correct this:

  • Quit InDesign.
  • Delete the following files (the “2026” portion may vary depending on your version of InDesign):
    • C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 2026\65bit Serial Numbers
    • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\65bit Software\EasyCatalog CC2026 Serial Numbers (if present)
  • Launch InDesign and register using your serial numbers.
  • Quit and Relaunch InDesign.
