A “Grow and Flow” fitting type tells EasyCatalog to expand a text box vertically to fit its content, up to the bottom margin of the page.
If there’s still overset text after this expansion, EasyCatalog will create a new page and then either:
- Repaginate the same library item, linking the text boxes that are set to “Grow and Flow,” or
- Use a different library item that’s configured to paginate at the same data hierarchy level and has its Continuation option set to “Grow and Flow.”
This setup lets you define one library item for the initial pagination and a different one for any continued content on following pages.
This error appears when EasyCatalog can’t find a suitable frame to “Grow and Flow” into. To avoid this, ensure that any library item used for continuation includes at least one text box with its Fitting option set to Grow and Flow.
